1. Service Provider and Subject of the Agreement
Company / Business name: schedulo.com – sole proprietorship
Registered address: Hajdúböszörmény
Contact: Imre Szepesi
Email: imreszepesi1030@gmail.com
Website: schedulo.com
These terms apply to registered users of the schedulo.com online booking system ("Service") – typically service providers and businesses. The Service enables the creation of an online booking profile, appointment management, client management, and related features.
2. Registration and Account
- During registration, accurate, up-to-date and complete information must be provided. Providing false information may be grounds for immediate account suspension.
- The account is personal and may not be shared or transferred to a third party.
- The user is responsible for account security – especially the confidentiality of the password. Suspected unauthorised access must be reported immediately to: imreszepesi1030@gmail.com.
- One active account may be associated with one real business / natural person. Exceptions (e.g. companies with multiple locations) must be agreed in advance.
- The user is responsible for ensuring that content uploaded to the platform (text, images, price lists) does not infringe copyright, trademarks or third-party rights.
3. Subscription, Fees and Billing
- Plans: Available subscription plans and their prices are listed on the Pricing page; the prices shown there are always authoritative.
- Billing: Periodic subscription fees are invoiced in advance at the start of the billing cycle. An electronic invoice is issued to the email address provided.
- Free trial: No automatic charge occurs after the trial period. A separate, explicit order and confirmation is required to start a paid plan.
- Cancellation: The subscription can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle. Fees paid for the current period are non-refundable, except as required by law.
- Price changes: Users will be notified of price changes by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after 15 days of notification constitutes acceptance.
- Late payment: In case of unpaid invoices, the Service may be restricted or suspended. The suspension will be lifted upon settlement of the outstanding balance.
- Refund requests: In case of a documented system failure, a refund request may be submitted to imreszepesi1030@gmail.com.
4. Use of the Service
- It is prohibited to use the Service for illegal purposes, to infringe others' rights, to publish misleading content, to spam, or to place undue load on the system.
- It is prohibited to collect system data using automated tools (bots, scrapers) without the prior written consent of the provider.
- Uploaded content (images, descriptions, service names) must be the user's own lawfully usable content.
- We reserve the right to restrict unreasonable resource use and to immediately stop abuse. In case of serious or repeated abuse, we may act without prior notice.
- We do not guarantee continuous availability of the Service; planned maintenance will be notified in advance.
5. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features
The Service optionally offers AI-based analysis and advisory features (e.g. profile optimisation tips). These are provided via the OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., San Francisco, USA) API.
- Data transferred: Only aggregated, non-personally identifiable profile information is passed to the AI (e.g. number of services listed, whether opening hours are filled in). Personal data – client names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses – are never sent to OpenAI.
- Usage limit: AI analyses are subject to a monthly usage limit; limits are shown in the account. Once the limit is reached, the most recent result is displayed.
- AI content accuracy: AI-generated advice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial or medical advice.
- Opt-out: Use of AI features is voluntary; all other features remain fully available without them.
- OpenAI data handling: Data sent via the OpenAI API is governed by OpenAI's own privacy policy (openai.com/privacy). OpenAI does not use API data for model training by default.
6. Intellectual Property
- The Service – including the software, design, logos and texts – is protected by copyright; copying, distribution or reverse engineering is prohibited.
- Copyright in content uploaded by the user remains with the user. By uploading, the user grants the provider a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free licence to display the content within the booking system.
- Prior written permission is required for commercial use of the platform's name, trademark or branding.
7. Limitation of Liability
We operate the Service with reasonable care. However:
- We are not liable for losses arising from outages beyond our control (hosting, internet provider, third-party APIs), data loss or indirect damages, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- schedulo.com acts solely as a technical intermediary in relation to the fulfilment of appointments and the quality of services rendered, and accepts no liability.
- The user is responsible for content published on their platform and for legal relationships entered into through it.
- Our maximum liability – unless otherwise required by law – is limited to the subscription fee paid in the relevant billing period.
8. Term and Termination of the Agreement
- The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period upon registration and acceptance of the terms.
- Termination by the user: Possible at any time by deleting the account, without consequence. Deletion does not entitle the user to a refund of fees already paid.
- Termination by the provider: With immediate effect in the event of a material breach; otherwise with 30 days' notice.
- Data deletion after termination: Personal data will be deleted from the production system within 30 days (from backups within 90 days), except for data subject to statutory retention obligations.
